Now Showing at the LAA Landscape Invitational
My watercolor "Barn by the Cove" was selected by the prestigious jurors of the Lyme Art Association for the "Landscape Invitational" show, now in progress in Old Lyme, CT. What a nice feature that you can view the artwork online! My art was also selected for the "Works on Paper", and "Summer Painting", so make sure you check those out too!
Barn by the Cove was painted 'en plein air' at the Wethersfield Cove in the spring. The trees were just budding and the sun was highlighting the barn at, I think, 550 Main Street. The purple shadows on the road were the icing on the cake!
